I have been inspired by some of your writings. I am currently looking for some direction as I am once again experiencing problems with a loved one who has an endless problem with drugs. I do find it very difficult to remain possitive and find myself going into bouts of depression. I have been inspired by Joel's Writings,Tapes and lectures, for the past 5 years. I have been through some very disturbing expieriences comming to the end of self, "as he said the false sense of self dies very badly". Yet through all the deep dark pits, the seemingly endless dark knights of the soul and the reluctance of this false sense to let go, I find seconds of Joy that are beyond comprehension. If not for the times I spend in being still to allow the translation to take place I would have run away a long time ago. But God being God, He never leaves one in doupt for too long for I came accross a book titled NOWHERE TO RUN-NO PLACE TO HIDE. which also helps me to keep on track. As I grow in this awareness I meet people of like expieriences, some very briefly and some for longer periods of time, also I have been blessed with the pleasure of a spiritual guide, who happens to be the author of the above book and together we have walked this walk for over three years. I have been a Goldsmith student of The Infinite Way since September 1972 when I first experienced that "be all to end all" in meditation after reading Joel's "Parenthesis In Eternity," his song of songs... That experience placed my feet on the "Path" back to "the Father's House," my one and only goal in life. So much has happened since then, and good has entered my life almost exclusively. In a spiritually lost world, it is a blessing that you have taken the time and energy to devote your knowledge and experiences to all who seek it. I and my wife have been going through what I call a transition period. There is no such thing as a slump or bad day, they are all necessary in groing and are simply transition periods. Dear Gail and Robert: I was not able to go to sleep. My mind was praying to God and affirm his many promises to me as a living tent. I forgot many of his promises and I was looking for the booklet I purched a while ago. That book lists most of his promises. I could not find it. I decide to use the Hi-Tech to find his promises. I clicked on your site and here I am for another hour already passed. I read your story and I was very inspired by it and listen to the tape which strikes the cord within my heart that I needed to know that to really set me free as a Christian. I could not accept the idea that my subconscious mind is my saviour. I just could not but the way you put it is all about God and I am free to do the thing like many successful people do is affirming wath they have just prayed to God or vise versa and it is incredible truth for me. I have been affirming the truth for five days now and I am a different person in side. I am more confident in God than before but the debt put me back to fear and I go against it by affirming the truth again and on and on as the result I am on the plus side so far. I am a recent follower of Joel Goldsmith's teachings. I was brought to Joel's writings by a friend of mine's mother who recently came to town. The mother came because my friend was having surgery to have a cancerous tumour removed. Well, over the past 2-3 months I have begun following the Infinite Way path. Previously, I followed similar teachings, but the Infinite Way is even more profound to my understanding. I have been truly blessed. However, in the case of my friend the situation has become gravely critical from a human medical perspective. Today, July 18, I was told that doctors say she has two weeks left to live. I have been attempting to heal her spiritually for the past couple months based on Joel's teachings. I feel great about the progress I have made. However, if anyone out there has more experience in practicing healing demonstrations I ask you to allow God into the true consciousness of this situation. I know all things are in their proper place and will play out to God's plan. Nevertheless, any meditative practice to bring this event into the Truth of God would be appreciated. Hello, a friend of mine gave me your URL. It is uplifting and we all need that so much these days. Some of what you said on the first webpage challenged me to sort of let go of focusing on outside things that don't matter that much. I like that you said that the "Kingdom of God is within you." That's such an inspirational reminder that we've got it inside of us and we can find it there. One thing you said is that God doens't need to fight another power...were you saying that you don't believe that there are evil spirits? I can honestly say that I've encountered both in my presence and I know that both good and evil spirits do exist, but that doesn't mean that I'm defeated by the evil...no I know that God created all that exists and He is more powerful than anything and since I have God in my life, I can claim the holy scriptures that are promises and defeat the enemy of the soul. I am so glad I came across your site I found it in someone else's website. I have been looking through your website for about 3 hours now and still not finished. I have sent your site to friends of mine through email. I got clean and sober in 1995 and realized God was within from the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. Yes, most definitely this sight has touched my life as has Joel Goldsmiths books I have been absorbed in for the last year. I have a son, 13 and a daughter 10. In my culture and my mother tongue we say Deus which means(God) but for me I take the letters D.E.U.S. to be Dialectic-Eclectic-Universal-Science. I also think in terms of A-B-C-D-E for me it is Allah,Buddha,Christo,Deus,Elohim. There is a oneness in the all for all humanity without Superior or inferior but equality in goodness and joy and happiness and kindness for all humanity.In my studies of comparative religions I have taken the best from all and in the oneness of our planet mother earth and in the human experience of man and woman we all depend on the same air for the breath of life and the water and the food we take into our bodies serve us for our very existence of being. Our way of life is our religion and our body and soul is our temple. I think that Kahlil Gibran said it so well IN the book "The PROPHET" When he spoke: "On Religion". I also think it is very clear in The Book of Romans chp 12&13 also in The Holy Qur'an Sura XLIX verse 13 and we can find similar in the teachings of the Buddha and we can also find in other religions the peace and harmony and love for humanity if we look deeply. Your website is a "God-send". I am learning the true art of prayer as taught by Joel Goldsmith. I am surprised that it is so difficult when I have been studying for years. I read something from The Art of Spiritual Healing that made me understand what I have been doing all these years. Joel said that the reason most people don't take up the "true" practice of prayer is founded in their extreme fear that it MAY NOT WORK. It jarred me to the core. That was me. I was searching the internet for information on where there is a tape group in my area. I have been reading Goldsmith since 1991. My introduction to Joel was in the Palm Springs library and I was in the religion asile and I was searching for answers when the book "A Man Was Not Born to Cry" literally fell into my hands. I right now don't know what to think or feel I am trying to learn more about my beliefs but I don't know what you people would really believe in yet. I have looked into some pagan beliefs in my lifetime because I felt that there was something misunderstood by a lot of Christians. I have always grown up Presbyterian but question everything that I read in the Bible because I just can't seem to understand it in the ways that most people encourage me to see it. I have continually felt that what Christianity was meant to be was not a religion at all but a total concentrated Spirituality that is linked with the rest of man- kind and Earth. I for some reason believe that sin has caused us to be blind to righteouness within everyone and thing so in esscense there can be no one right way or wrong way but multiple ways to achieve Oneness as well as wrongways. I hope your not confused. I need to drastically learn more. What drives me absolutely nuts is when I can learn to accept different philosphies and ways of looking because of internal beliefs that I am not fully aware of yet and when I go back to the Bible I seem to always be contradicting certain Christian ideals because without even praying I literally go straight under the words in the Bible. I was seeking information on tithing and stumbled upon this site. I am sure it was no "accident". I have a couple of very old, crumbling Goldsmith books that came from a teacher of mine, now departed, but it is a long time since I looked at them I am grateful to you for doing this website. I and friend have been searching for the way we and God ( in William Johnston's phrase.'Uncreated Energies' ) are in are a unity, through the way Quantum Physics, the 'New Physics', can explain the universal unity. This is the first time I have come across the essence of what we are searching for on line. There are several authors whose books are bringing us closer to the truth of 'reality. I find your work very impressive and impressing and feel that it is close to what I have been searching for for many years.

I'm so glad that I came across this website. I began my spiritual journey many years ago and have slowly gained more insight. I have always known that GOD is and has been more than what any religion can teach me. It's been a solo journey because my husband, and family, would feel insecure with my "ideas". My husband feels threatened by my "radical" thoughts and so a few years back I've realized that I cannot share my experiences because it scares him and he is not ready to hear such things. I long to share my views with others and that's why I'll come back to this website. Thank you for sharing and helping others on their spritual journeys.
